FADE IN

EXT. PARK - DAY

An aerial shot of the park, LORETTA can be seen playing on the jungle gym, while two boys, ALPHONSE and SIMON, are fighting over a toy plane.

CUT

EXT. PARK - DAY

Medium shot of ALPHONSE and SIMON fighting over the plane. As the two boys fight, they get closer to the camera. Something catches ALPHONSE’s eye, he stops in his tracks. SIMON snatches the plane from ALPHONSE.

EXT. JUNGLE GYM - DAY

Medium close-up shot of LORETTA, sat on the jungle gym, playing with her toy truck. She notices ALPHONSE and smiles.

CUT

EXT. PARK - DAY

Medium shot of ALPHONSE and SIMON. SIMON, toying with the plane, notices ALPHONSE is distracted, looks up, sees LORETTA and barges past ALPHONSE, knocking him over.

EXT. JUNGLE GYM - DAY

Medium shot of LORETTA. LORETTA looks away, disinterested, snubbing SIMON.

CUT

EXT. PARK - DAY

Medium shot of SIMON and ALPHONSE. SIMON stands feeling rejected. ALPHONSE pops up behind him, scans the jungle gym, and begins to run. SIMON, noticing ALPHONSE’s action, also runs.

CUT

EXT. JUNGLE GYM - DAY

ALPHONSE is climbing up the ramp of the jungle gym when SIMON, behind, grabs ALPHONSE by the ankle, tripping him up.

CUT

SIMON clambers over ALPHONSE, and they begin to fight their way to LORETTA.

Close shot of LORETTA. LORETTA is sat playing with her toy truck on the slide, oblivious to SIMON and ALPHONSE scrabbling behind her. ALPHONSE begins to get close to LORETTA and is reaching out towards her as she slides down the slide, taking the toy truck with her.

Medium close-up shot of LORETTA. LORETTA is sat playing with the truck at the bottom of the slide. SIMON slides down the fireman’s pole in the background. LORETTA, noticing the squeaking sound of the pole, turns to face SIMON.

CUT

MEDIUM close-up of SIMON - LORETTA in the midground. LORETTA, with her truck in her hands, looks at SIMON, and then looks up above him.

CUT

Medium close-up shot of SIMON. SIMON also looks up. ALPHONSE is above him clinging on the fireman’s pole. After a small jerky drop, he then drops suddenly with full force onto SIMON.

Close up of LORETTA flinching.

Medium shot of ALPHONSE and SIMON. ALPHONSE stands up and walks over to LORETTA. The camera tracks ALPHONSE as he walks past. When ALPHONSE reaches LORETTA, LORETTA begins to blush. She looks to the ground smiling.

CUT

Medium shot of ALPHONSE and LORETTA. ALPHONSE, smiling, looks down at the truck, and snatches it from LORETTA. ALPHONSE then begins to walk off, eyes happily fixed on his new toy.
